We have talked shovels to death here. But what about shovel mounting clamps? I have used the Quick-fist clamps but wanting to find something more solid. Locking would be a good bonus.
Im not looking for something that clamps on a roof rack rail. It needs to be able to bolt on any flat surface.

I had searched before and not found anything suitable. But just tried again and found the cat’s meow. Too hard to grab a photo but i did a google search for “heavy duty shovel mounting clamps”. Result was lots of Quick-fists or copies. But one set popped up on Amazon that looked great. They even key locked. I’ll report back after testing.

Could not grab a photo off Amazon. But search for “shovel mount for truck with lock”. They should show as 2nd or 3rd option.
They hold securely and easy to use. The lock is more for looks as it could be easily defeated. But it would stop most quick grabs. They come with lots of hardware for multiple mounting options. I am satisfied.
