Hey guys Im re engineering my 92 sun lite and it has the standard lift sytem with a crank in the middle attached to the front bunk. I had the standard issue rot problem on the rear roof lip last year. I pulled the back of the roof off and replaced the wood but I never got the back of the lift mounted right i guess and the rear bracket has popped thru the skin again. Here is my question has anyone done away with the lift system or come up with another way of lifting and locking the top. I do not have an AC on the roof so no extra weight. I would really like to get rid of the left as it would allow me more room inside during my current overhaul. I would appreciate you r input and thanks in advance
