LJ are nice canvas!
Take your time, focus on what you want to do with it and you will love it! When I started moding my LJ, I used the experience of the 20 years and 320 000 km of wheeling and modification I did on my YJ to decided where I wanted to go with my LJ. And in the end, it eeally is want you want plan to do with it.
In my case, I knew that I wanted to go for overlanding and less rock crawling/mudding, so 6" of lift and 35 boggers were not in the plan. But I drove that YJ over 1000 of miles to go to off road events and jamborees.
I will try to find updated Pics of my LJ. Bit I do know that some here are very expensive and nicely built LJ. But we have to dind them again!
