Sorry I ran out of steam on the thread here. Truck has been rolling around. Bed and toolboxes mounted and new Yoko Geolandar G003 315/75R15 tires and wheels paintedIMG_20210402_065300_644.jpg
I got it into the spring shop and got rear spring packs doctored up. Another extra leaf added, lower overloads tweaked and a half-wrap second leaf made. It's still not up to snuff so it's going back in to get a factory style auxiliary aka upper overload aka helper pack added. Those new leaves will contact brackets on the frame when loaded.

Definitely need better shock absorbers. Looking at Fox 2.0, Bilstein 5165 and King. ADS 2.5 have been recommended by an aquaintance and a local shop but those are about $700/piece. Doing some investigation now into what I can get setup with valving appropriate for this beast.

On the way back from the spring shop I found the headgasket leaking coolant at #6 cylinder, I took that into the shop and also found the VE pump leaking a lot of fuel. Got the headgasket repaired and I pulled the injection pump and got it rebuilt. Unfortunately in CA they wouldn't add any mods or even keep my tuning so I have a weekend coming up to install a BD fuel pin and 3200 rpm governor spring and do some tuning. I also drove over to Summit racing in Reno NV and picked up and installed a 4" diamond eye exhaust that wouldn't ship to CA.

Besides lots of random tinkering I will be installing a Victron battery monitor, a Sony axv1000 stereo with double din screen that fits single din hole, speakers and a backup camera. Also a fabbing garage and trash receptacle between the cab and camper.

A transmission swap is in the future too. I will be swapping out the getrag G360 for either a NV4500 or a NV5600
