I have 15k on my current brake pads, mostly highway, and the brake warning light is coming on saying check brake pads. It's been a while since that light has gone off for me, but I don't remember it acting like this and I am guessing the problem is not actually the brake pads. The light comes on, cars bings, says check brake pads, then it will go away, then come back on. Even when the light stays on, its binging at me every 20 seconds or so, all this without my touching the brakes. Guessing the sensor has gone bad? Anyone else have this happen?
