What are the options aside from new factory replacement parts?

Seriously, this is a factual question. I do not want a debate on the brand, vehicle, or capabilities. Only answers to the question.

Custom arms as part of a steel spring replacement/lift kit would be pretty cool.

There are none. Why do you want them?

If you are looking to go with some sort of baja style long travel suspension, you are going to have to have them fab'd up. And then you will need to hire a computer scientist to bypass the ECU's input from the sensors....

The owner of OC Rovers did just that. Had 15" long travel KINGS installed, and 35" tires. Never got the truck to run though, he put tons of money into mapping out a new ECU but then had to give the vehicle back for reasons I'm uncertain of.

My reccollection of his suspension mods is that he fabb'd new shock mount cages, but left the control arms the same, per the class spec he was aiming for in the SCORE/Baja class.
