Maxtrax Mounting: Subaru

SO I have an Outback, and I have a pair of Maxtrax. I'm looking for some suggestions on mounting methods and/or devices.

I have the rack on the roof for stuff, so that can be utilized.

Anything from anyone? :ylsmoke:

i remember i was driving south on the I-15 and another 4th gen outback passed me.

it was lifted with possibly new springs and spacers.

on the roof were these things... very similar to what you are asking about but they were mounted on their sides.

i never got to see how they were mounted but suspect they were attached to an aftermarket rack.

i have a subaru branded basket, yakima load warrior, with the extension and would hope they would fit in there :)

check out this link, last post... that is the only pic i could find for you:

Bolt them to a set of thule racks?

Just drill 4 holes while they're nested together, poke the 4 bolts on your thule bars through the maxtrax and wingnut/bolt them down.
