Another great trip in the record books. This time we ran into a little bit of trouble and had to winch ourselves out twice in one day. It was all part of the adventure!

Enjoy & thanks for reading!

I'm sure with your trailer it also makes it harder to take certain lines. Good thing you did not have 6 full jerry cans on the roof rack or else the higher center of gravity could of made things worse. Glad you guys made it out fine.

I assume that was between Badger Flats and Papoose Flats.....

There's that small section between Badger and Papoose Flats that I wouldn't think wouldn't be too friendly for a trailer, especially with any lenght of a tongue. I guess it's just another adventure in the log book.

I've always felt that Papoose Flats viewed coming on from the north could be called "the land that time forgot" and there should be some forgotten and hidden dinosaurs living somewhere in the rocks.

Thanks for sharing,

Nice write up and pictures of a very neat location. As mentioned, the rocky down hill left with the little step about half way between Badger and Papoose must have been interesting with the trailer!

Enjoyed the trip.

Yeah it was definitely tight and you had to choose your lines well. :D

Absolutely! Nothing up on the rack unless we need it.

Yeah there were some slight hair raising sections, but as long as you keep the trailer brakes off in certain sections and let the truck and trailer do what they like... you'll make it down unscathed in most cases. The problem is when you start trying to take it too slow and use too much brake.

Man, every time I see your trailer it makes my heart happy. Such a great looking trip. Glad you had a blast and thanks for sharing the report.
