Just in case you don´t have the time to build your own expedition truck and want to leave tomorrow....

Based on a 2001 Mercedes Actros, originally exported to the middle east, this truck was custom build for overland expeditions with highest comfort.
In 2008/09 the truck was fully services with new parts and the cabin was build by Cabby.
As the engine is EURO 2 compliant it can be run with lesser quality fuel as found in most african, russian and middle eastern countries.
Nonetheless the engine´s emission classification can be improved to EURO 4 compliancy.

What is it about some people when they sell a car they HAVE to remove the radio? I mean honestly for the price of the truck it really wouldn't make that much difference to have left the radio above the kitchen, instead it leaves an unsightly hole.
That must be why it's been on the market for so long ;-)

Doesn't stop me dreaming of having such a beastie though. (where's the smiley with the druel coming out of it's mouth?)

lol @ the sand ladders on the right side. Makes it look like a poser vehicle. I doubt those sand ladders will ever be unbolted from the truck, let alone that the driver even knows what they are used for.

OMG! That is SO right! Those two short little pieces wouldn't do $@&! if that monster got stuck in sand or mud! Cool truck though. I like it.

They could be buried and used as a winch point, or under a bottle jack, or to help a smaller stranded vehicle. Better to have them and not need them, than not and need them.
