Race day started off great, I jumped in the GMC and chased the car up to RM110. The car was running great as they made there way through the pack, up to 1st place for a while with no major issues. Around RM180 we ended up having wire harness issue. We drop out of the front and fell way behind due to a handful of time wasted stopped working on the car. After waiting around for the car to reach RM350 where I would meet the car again at about 3:00am I really didn't get a chance to get any good day pics of the truck out on the road chasing. But I did take these that came out crappy.
Crazy how well these factory lights work on these new 2015 HD's! still not sure how we are going to equip this truck, may end up with a service bed or maybe just a chase rack/bed cage set up. Either way I know it's going to get more lights added to get a little further reach with the light around the truck.
After a really long night of chasing the race we waited around the finish line till we got the call that the car lost all power 15 miles away from the finish due to the earlier wire harness issue. After heading out to retrieve the car we meet up with the other chase truck and I snapped this pic.
No mater if we won, came in 2nd or DNF'd these trips are fun as hell.... can't wait to be chasing the next race!
