Mounting Shower Awning on Overland Trailer and Shower Issues

I'm trying to figure out how to mount a shower enclosure on my overland trailer. The enclosure would be mounted relatively flush on the roof rack. A fender sticks out fifteen inches beyond the roof rack, jutting into the shower enclosure.

How do you mount the enclosure to the trailer, without having it hanging off the trailer, flying down the highway like a torpedo, and still retain a usable shower enclosure width?

I'm also wondering how muddy it gets showering right next to trailer. Is it an issue? Any tips on how to make it better? I almost feel like it would be better to get an extension hose and a stand alone shower enclosure - but setup would be much more of a pain and the shower might lose some pressure.

Thanks!

Watching this as I’ve wondered the same. I carry a simple floor mat in my trailer for the RTT ladder. Adding another to stand on for showering would be easy.

I considered a swing out arm. But never got around to it before my last trip.
