Mt. Bierstadt 14er Climb, 4 Aug 2007 CO

Time to do one more before I leave the great State of CO and head back to the Arizona summer. Anyone interested in Bierstadt on Saturday morning, 4 August 2007? It's Saturday, so it's of course gonna be packed with people but still worth it I think.

I'll be at the parking lot between 6:00 and 6:30am. Let me know if you'd like to join.

No real stories necessary except there was this one gal who was literally running up the trail. Every breath for me is about 1 large step; this gal was running at a clip that would rival herself on the flats. At the top, she informed me it was her second time (of three) up that morning; I feel out of shape.

1. Bierstadt from the North.
2. Very green due to recent rains,
3. USGS `proof' marker
4. Grays & Torreys in the distance,
5. August flowers abloom,
6. Mt. Elbert as the tallest one in the distance,
