I have an '89 1st Gen LWB, with 124k on it, once named "Monty," now, "The Money Pit."
- Elusive electrical issue $
- Coolant leak (easy fix) but also $
- Wiper motor died $
Two weeks ago...
- BAD oil leak, soaked timing belt, replaced the two main seals $
Last week...
-Pow! Blew a head gasket...estimated at $1,530
This was an awesome truck to drive, but I've now put more money into it than what I picked it up for, and this last issue (head gasket), frankly ain't gonna happen. This is, was, my daily driver, and now I just want to get rid of the thing.
My question is: how much do you guys value my tuck, with a blown head gasket, for? Is it only worth parts now? I'm on the east coast, and it seems that 1st Gens are way less common than the middle, or west of the country.
