My 2014 TRD Sport

Thanks to all who helped in my previous post, I took your advice and went with the 2014 TRD Sport with 58k miles. I have not put any miles to speak of on it, just drove it home about 10 miles. Truck is super clean, I really like it but it has a cheap lift I was not able to get info from it while at the lot. Would not have made a difference, also a K&N air intake set up that I do not like. I made a post locally to swap the intake out with anyone who has a fully stock set up. Same on the cheap-o lift it is bolt on so just gonna pull it off. I have no intentions of wheeling this truck I do not need any lift, just going to be doing a lot of camping and road time. The Tacoma is replacing a 1996 F150 XLT 4x4 which is for sale now.

Thanks, day one but I am happy with it. Pulls my baby tear drop just fine, tear drop is 1001lbs dry 5'x8' I did extend the tongue on it so my JKU would pull it and not hit the rear tire. Looking at it now I may cut it off and go back shorter.

Looking at a set of take offs, so I have a set of bran new 32” Duratracs for a 16” wheel. Found two sets locally I like one set had tires for $500 one set is just wheels for $400.

2019 takes offs with practically new tires no TPMS.
$500

These are wheels only at $400 No TPMS I do like these better but have some questions.

I was searching and I know they will bolt up, but I read about someone having to grind calipers which I will not do. But these came off a 2019 SR5 I don’t see where there would be an issue but just asking before I buy so I do t waste any time of money.

thanks,
James

Picked up a camper shell today, guy had it locally on Ebay for $250. I did not ask a lot of question's other than any damage other than corners. Was a fair deal came off a 2005 Tacoma so I knew it was older. Ordered replacement shocks, got to replace the gasket and have it paint which would be the case with almost any used one. Rear glass was coated in white paint said it was a result as the wreck his truck was in. Cleaned up nicely front glass is a slider, rear 50/50 windows with screens.

Can anyone share some pictures with me, I can not find what I’m looking for. Specifically a Leer camper 100XR. I got my shell used and it is missing the tailgate seal appears the mount is broken off.

pictured above is the rear glass from my shell, the fiberglass strip at the bottom is what I am trying to get more info on. I believe mine is broken, I think it should extend down further which would form a seal on the tailgate.

Thanks
James

Also installed a custom dual battery system.

Current project I am wrapping up is some 3D work. Looking for some custom radio storage, designed a replacement for one of the sun glass pockets. The insert will fit either pocket, I am goign to strip my radio down and compact it into the console. I am as well looking into using this in the front pocket and extending it forward for storage. This can as well be used for holding switches or about anything.
