so been a while but thought I would post a few pics of our latest outing
it was in Arizona near Sedona
so I cant get stuff from South Africa easy so having to make my own stuff up a bit for my conqueror
I wanted walls and a bigger shade area so I picked up this shade material from Home Depot
I bought 50 feet long by 6 feet wide for about $75 US and made my own walls and extenstions and going to work on them a bit more sew in some velcro etc.. I put grommets in for the poles and just used zip ties on the bottom but going to sew some velcro strips in when I figure it all out
you can see the back wall that goes around 3 poles in the rear and it worked well to keep the dust and stuff down
my ultimate goal is to have walls I can bring all the way around to help with bugs ? I might go to a custom canvas maker in the future to get nicer walls ?
the one thing is still plenty of light ! some huge awnings and walls I have been in get to dark !
a shot here of my wing extension off the front (I ended up making one for the other side but did not get a pic of it up that is clear) you can see it extends out quite a bit
I also have a wing off the kitchen side and then use a fold up table to put the hot water heater and stove on so I just have to turn around to cook and it works out quite well until I build my kitchen slide system you can kinda see the table in the below shot
last shot of the overall setup when we go out
the outhouse/shower its a setup from cabellas since we have kids its nice to have a nice large one we can work with the kids in and when camping in areas where their is no water or bathrooms it comes in quite handy but wondering about some of the quick pop ups with a removable floor ?
