The Hundred Days of Darien?

Whoa - what is The Hundred Days of Darien? It's going for $334 used on Amazon! Must be a heck of a book. :Wow1:

It's about the Pan American Highway trip by some Range Rovers.

The book mostly focuses on the crossing of the the roadless Darien Gap.
It can be a hard to find book.

I got a very kool t-shirt from ym buddies this past year for my birthday.. The North Face made a shirt with a Landrover on the front.. I wear it ALLLLL the time..

My faves are Tom Sheppards' VDE and Off Road Driving.
There's also a couple of great books by Redmond O'Hanlon Into the Heart of Borneo and In Trouble Again.

While Into the Heart of Borneo is about an exepdition by canoe, the book starts off with a trip to the SAS to learn jungle skills and a bit of Land Rover driving. Great adventure books and Redmond has a very funny writing style
