:smiley_drive:I'm glad I could at least take some pictures for you. I had no stregnth to do much of anything else. Have you had a chance to do a test drive yet? :smiley_drive:
REX

And you took fine pictures, you would think yo have used a camera before :sombrero:
I did finally test drive on the way to work this morning, and had to take it back home. That balancing weight and fuel tank skid were nt playing nice together, so I have to use a little force. Hopefully it will be quick and I can get to the birthday party my kids have to go to this afternoon. Lesson learned, test drive before you NEED the vehicle... :(

Nice work. What size tires are you running? Plans to go bigger?

Right now, I am running 265/75/16 but would love to see a set of 33's under there. I am thinking 255/85/16, but with the life left in my MTRs, and teh dust left in my wallet, I will have to wait. I would love to try to get to 35's, but teh body lift and fire wall bashing is not in my plans right now, so 33's will fit nicely.

There is a set of 5 on the for sale board that I already drooled over... I am thinking the KM2's, or Cooper Discoverer SST's.

Well, I got under there and used my mini pry bar to bend the skid back out of the way. Now we are driving just fine.

Factory toyota skids are worthless, especially when yours are as beat up as mine. I really need to get that thing off and have one fabbed...

Get a bud built skid. :sombrero:

I was referring to the fuel tank skid, last I checked, bud does not make those. I have both front and center bud built skids, and have bent the center one in the middle of a strengthened (bent up) section. We tried putting a Dodge diesel on it before remounting and it still stayed bent... I love those skids, but did a real number to my center one.

Looks good, Brian. How is the ride compared to the OME set-up?

Much better. I am still in process of cleaning the OME to sell. The lift was nearly equal in the front, but the rear was huge! It feels like the rear is still settling into place when I turn sometimes, but the overall ride is great. I have a Sedona trip in 2 weeks to try the off road ride. Anyone else wanna go to Sedona on the 13th? I am going to try a trip with the no club, club.

You may want to clearance where the slip yoke zerk will tear itself off and mangle your fuel tank skid too.

That must be why he gave the replacement allen head... thanks.

I will watch for that, but right now, the zerk is no where near that plate. The weight is the only close point.
