So I decided today, since there are no driving issues with the way the wheels are set up, I'm going to wait to have everything checked out when the OME suspension is put on. This will give me some time to see if I can source some used wheels. Obviously, if anything changes between now and then, I'll have it serviced. But I'd like to avoid duplication of cost as much as possible.

In other news, I finished spraying the floor with truck bed lining today, save for the driver seat area. I will get to that over the weekend and post pics once all is said and done.

Lastly, here's a pic of the engine after she was all washed and clean from the Yota dealership. After reviewing the paperwork once again, I confirmed she's a TD4.2.

Placed an order on Amazon for the Smittybilt 98495 XRC Synthetic Rope Winch - 9500 lb. Load Capacity, which should be coming with my personal effects shipment. The equivalent winch with steel rope sold in Guatemala is double the price (UR GEAR).

Flooring sprayed with bed liner. Sides sprayed with black gloss. She's ready for new side panels and diamond plating. I'll be stripping and replacing the roof liner as well, so I didn't worry too much about spraying over the worn out window panels (just made sure not to paint the actual window!).

Thanks man! Glad you like it :) I'll be upgrading the interior once the engine job is 100% done. Hope you reach the level you like with that sweet black shorty :)

Thanks! My goal is by end the of April the shorty will be close to finish. I've been putting in some more work to the interior these past few days and removed all the fender flares. Will post some pics over the weekend.

Quick question for you: where'd you get your LED tail lights?

And looking forward to any and all changes you have in store. What attracts me to your rig is the simplicity and utility of your build. Keep the good info and pics coming!!!

That LED tail lights are somehow impossible to get online :) They're made in Dubai, UAE. Price is 72-73$ for the pair. I'm sending one to an Australian friend on patrol4x4.com but had to get it from Dubai first. Many have been asking me about it, lol! But I can arrange one for you ;) They were available here for 140$ but not anymore.

My lift springs are unknown source, lol! Just found some used ones and put them. The shocks are also made in Dubai, UAE and I'm happy with them. They seem to be for light trucks (GMC, Nissan Titan, etc) as it's double the size of my oem and aftermarket shocks. Bumpers are used ARB's brought from Dubai, UAE as well. Rims are GT Wheel, Chinese but really good quality.

Let me know if I missed anything.

Awesome info, as usual. I don't want to burden you for the LED lights from DXB but if you happen to come across a pair locally, for sure, let me know. I would be most grateful and happy to arrange logistics and payment with you.

Not really a "Patrol" update but I added a new member to the family today for New Year's :)

My new Rhodesian Ridgeback with my 3 year old, Zimbo. Thinking of naming the little guy Nyanga.

Alright, so a very quick update. Removed all four fender flares, started to lay down all weather matting in the interior, and painted the rear bumper with bed liner. Will try to complete the matting this weekend (driver and passenger sides). Also decided to remove and keep off the spare tire holder for now. I'm still up in the air about to what to do here. I like the look of the GQ without the spare but also understand that it's not entirely the smartest option. And with the ARB Touring rack on order with plans to mount the RTT, I will eventually need to decide what to do.

Here's the principal reason for putting all weather matting down, which is now more important with two...
