My pride and joy...

I just wanted to share some pics of my recent aquisition. A 1999 P38 4.6 HSE Callaway Edition. Just rolled over 80k on the speedo. At first I had the usual suspension problems but I replaced the front air bags and rebuilt the valve block and she works great now. I am having issues with the front wiper motors and wash system, cruise control and blower motor problems. So if anyone has any advice in these areas it would be greatly appreciated.

That's a really nice looking truck. I wouldn't change a thing on it except fixing what is broken.

I recently passed over a 1999 P38. Nothing fancy except for a supercharger on the engine and Rangie Sport rims (the rims make the truck!). Other than that, super clean.

These are awesome trucks and maybe one day I can pick one up!

Very tidy.

I'd look closely at the BECM for the faults - it's a common problem that can affect any part of the body electrical system. I don't think new ones are available, but it's usually a matter of dry joints on the circuit board, so can be repaired if the bad joint can be found.

Thanks! I did locate an original brush bar I'm trying to acquire. Other than that I love how it looks:wings:

Thank you! I know I have a leak in the wash resevior that can be causing the issue also since its telling me the wash level is low. Starting simple and working up from there. It's my first Rover and would own no other now!

Just got it really, was planning on looking at other ones. These are pitted with rust anyhow but will work for now.

So far all I know is it has a little bit more H.P. and if I need Callaway specific parts they're not real esay to come by. I was able to find a new in the box carbon fiber air intake tube for it. $40 on eBay, not too bad, also just aquired an original brush guard for $50 on Craigslist. As far as the truck itself I think I'm the 3rd owner. My in-laws got it from a guy in Santa Fe and decided it wouldnt work out for their needs so I traded a 2001 Toyota Sequoia for it. I feel I got the better end of the deal :)
