Hmmm ... maybe if Expedition Pictures has room for a passenger

Yeah. I'd offer you my second ride, but it's already spoken for! Be very cool if you could 'pool with Josh, but be warned, he might put you to work!

cheers

I will be heading out Thursday or Friday for the long 3-4 day trek from Queens! I will be going in a large caravan with some NY/NJ/MA people. Anyone on our route is more than welcome to join!

It's going to be a eye opener for us. We are used to deep mud, trees and water. Now I have to be ready for rock, openness and dry weather!

I will be there with our contingent of New England folks. Last one I attended was '05 so I'm overdue.

Keith, I'm trying to convince Matt to make the trip. So help me convince him.

So when do you expect to pass thru Iowa?

I'm right at the I80/I35 intersection, and will curiously be headed that way :)

So Keith if you guys pick up and convoy with the new England crowd who gets to be the rubber duck?

I plan to attend as one of the dormobiles in attendance.

I guess there are three now? Teriann, who is the third?

Ian Kelly

He has the blue 1962 Dormobile at the rear of this line.

Ian works on big budget movies and may be shooting a movie during the Rally. But if he can get his frame repaired & have the time off he plans to join us at Needles. His left rear spring outrigger needs attention.

I have to see the route we are taking. It's either 80 or 70 out there. Does anyone know which is a nicer/better/faster route?

Unless you're planning on coming through Chicago, you'll be on 70.

Either way works....Negative to 80 is Chicago, the only positive is the little diagonal you get from Ogalalla to Denver....yes, I've made the trip tooooo many times ;)

I think that you guys from the Far East can get down to 70 in PA / OH just as easy as staying on 80.

Personally, if I had to choose, I'd avoid Chicago unless you can drive thru earlier tha 06:00 on a weekend.

Yeah avoiding Chicago would be good. Though i've never been there I can imagine the traffic can be just as bad as New York. 70 seems like our best bet so far. :)

Kansas or Nebraska? Kansas or Nebraska? Kansas or Nebraska?

Mebbe a modified Route 66 would be more entertaining.
