Performed the coolant exhaust test this morning and failed miserably; the test liquid changed color from blue to yellow.
Sorry, mate. Not a big surprise on these motors though. My next step would be the cooling system pressure tester. See if you can get coolant into a cylinder, and hope that is shows up in 1,2,7 or 8 (run it to temp a bit, but not too hot so you can take the cap off safely still, and pressurize it - let it sit for a good while and then pull plugs and put a ling q-tip or similar in each cylinder bore to look for coolant).
If it's in 1,2,7 or 8 it's likely to be just a head gasket (the cooling passages run only in the front and backs of the heads on these). If it shows up in any of the middle four things start looking a bit grim for the engine block.
