As I have come to understand the different winches available, the only winches that are made in the USA are Warn and Ramsey, all the others are imported.

are the newer model Warn and Ramsey actually made in the USA or "assembled"?

From what I've read on other forums,Is Warn and Ramsey are the only two brands still made in the USA....I don't know if this claim applies to their lower end models.

I like my Warn M8000 fine, except the only thing I've used it for since I got it in August is to pull 4x4 fence posts out of the ground. :D

Maybe we need a slogan like "Pulling fence since 1948." :victory:

Ha! I used my Warn to winch to move a wooden swing set to make room for a shed. :D
