Nevada Black Rock Desert Expedition Guiding with Bay Area Expeditions

I just returned from an awesome adventure as one of the guides for Bay Area Expeditions to the Black Rock Desert in Nevada over Memorial Weekend. We experienced crazy weather--strong winds, rain, and snow. Our hearty adventurers kept up their spirits and enjoyed hot springs, wild horses, wild burros, Pronghorn antelopes, raptors, endemic frogs, target shooting and learning about wilderness survival skills. Looking forward to next months Expedition--stay tuned!

Great pics. Is the hot springs spot Soldier Meadows?

The Black Rock is truely a magical place.

Dang...if I would have known you were coming up I would have suggested meeting up at Planet X Pottery about 8-miles west of Grelach on the north edge of the Smoke Creek Desert on Saturday. They have a Memorial Day weekend party and sale there every year and its always fun. And this year was no exception.

Yes our weather has been quite bizarre from the first of the year on thanks to La Nina!

Glad you guys had fun!

Welcome to Nevadafornia
That isn't Trego. I don't think it's Soldier Meadows either though?
