ok so being a college student i like to try my hand at cooking new things. today it was my own style of fish tacoes. very simple very tasty.

here it is.
fish
olive oil
1 packet lawrys (or your choice) taco or fajita, or burrito seasoning
rice (white or brown), as much as you like
salsa
and whatever toppings that you like to put on tacoes.
soft or hard taco shells

heres how:
put the fillets or shrimp or whatever in a ziplok bag with some olive oil and half a packet of the taco seasoning
put that in the fridge for a while.

take the rice and cook it, when its almost compleatly cooked, add the other half of the taco seasoning packet. and finish cooking, mix well. add a bit of salsa to the rice, ammount varies on rice quantity. not a whole lot but enough for color.

take fish out and cook it

put rice, and fish, and whatever else youu want in the taco, and enjoy.

takes about 15min to cook. easy on the trail.

the salsa goes in the rice, and you dont have to put that much, honestly you can skip it, it just adds a little more flavor.

Thanks for sharing - my wife is a fiend for fish tacos. I guess Baja wore well on her.

We do something similar with a Chimichuri type sauce. I'll look ours up and share it here.

I wrap the fish in foil and throw it on the grill for 15 or 20 minutes.

Usually I just use chili powder and celantro with a squeeze of lime and some S&P to season.
