New Diesel Swap

The grand cherokee diesel is suppose to be a fairly hard swap, I remember something about having to move the steering box on the JK to get the engine to fit.

I know a couple of people who put the 2.8 VM Motori in their MJ, XJ and JK. The motor is more Jeepish and less Volks Wagony. More power, more torque and more rock n roll. I have one in my Jeep.

Is there a way i can get my hands on one of these 2.8 VM Motori motors here in the states, i would love to drop one in my xj.

They were avalible in the US in Libertys and Sprinter Vans.

The early sprinter vans where a 5cyl 2.7L diesel, the new ones are a v-6 3.0 diesel.

Diesel liberty is the only domestic source for the 2.8CRD that I know of.
