Hello from a new member with a new edition to my fleet of cars and trucks. I dont realy have a fleet but my wife say I do. I picked up a mint 2003 g500 with 53k miles. Its my favorite color grey and in great shape.

So far over the weekend I have.

1. Changed oil.
2. replaced all bulbs in brake lights side markers
3. Changed Air filters.

What else should I do?

Congrats, Tectite Grey ******!!
Nice choice on the E30 M3(had two) and 911S(have one) as well.

Diff locks are electric->pneumatic->hydraulic. They use brake fluid. See if your 3 diff locks will lock fairly quickly. Most likely they won't from lack of use. Always good to exercise those buttons frequently off-pavement.

Good to do a tranny fluid/filter/gasket change with synthetic ATF by 40-60k, and every 40-60k.
Grease the zirc fittings on every LOF.
Use Wurth HHS-K if you have access to it for the door hinges/strikers. WD-40 works if that's all you have, but HHS-K is the best(don't use white lithium, looks like junk...HHS-K is clear).

Enjoy it!!!

did it come with a maint log?

if not, service all your CV's. its age not mileage that will get you there. low mileage is awesome, but it doesnt do much to stave off deterioration of grease or rubber.
