IIRC Rusty's was selling the ARB for ~$750.

I have the ARB. It's a fine bumper but after having it for 5 years it needs to be dismounted and refreshed with paint and rust the cleaned up (in the salt belt).

I've never been entirely happy with how it attaches to the vehicle. Could be a little more robust. I'm going to make some plates that run along side the frame and go all the way forward to replace the hi-lift eyelets on the front with D-ring hangers. Thinking about recessing some fog lights into it near the turn signals as well.

It's a great looking bumper, just wish it was a little more robust - and didn't over hang quite as much. I'd take a look around before committing 100%. There are lots of other options for less money. Not many are as good looking though.

For winch, Warn or Superwinch (pro line or whatever its called) is all I'd run.

I'm not familiar with your rear springs/shackles but if you're considering returning to stock shackles you should know the stock shackles may limit articulation by contacting the frame and "clunking" on downward travel. This is the case with my RE 3.5" lift.

You may find once you change your tire to an A/T you'll feel more safe in the vehicle without removing lift. A tire with good road manners will make a big difference (although you may not find this in an "aggressive" A/T).

Winches are like vehicles, everyone's gonna like something different.
I picked up my MileMarker 8000 for under 400 bucks and if the military likes MM, why not...
You may never have a problem with your electric MM, but know the military uses the hydraulic ones. The electric ones are made in China and some guys have had problems with them.
