Why the need for different bearings. The axle has 5x5.5 pattern and bearings are Federal Mogul A35 containing a bearing (LM501349) and Race
(LM501310)

The seals are Federal Mogul 472018.

i don't need new bearings, i was hoping to be able to use the kit i linked to go to the six lug hub setup that matches my toyota but it turns out i cannot since i have the older style hubs. time for a new plan...

m416 wheel / tire combos?

hello all

i'm still resisting ordering a new axle even though i probably will end up doing so...

since i can't switch to toyota hubs, a new strategy on this...

tires on the trailer now are sized 7.00-16lw and the rim is a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern (that's right, no?).

what other trucks or SUVs use that bolt pattern? i want to try find a set of used rims/tires to swap onto the trailer. i'm concerned about finding rims that will work with that large center hub and also rims and tires that aren't so wide as to stick out of the stock fenders.

any ideas? thanks

All jeeps prior to I think 1997 had the 5.5 on 5 pattern....the trailers were built to be interchangable in many respects to the jeeps of the time period that pulled them.....blow a tire on the jeep? Dump the trailer and pull one off....break a spring...dump the trailer. You get the idea.
