Man this seems like a Smokin deal!

You guys know anything about that brand?

That's a thermoelectric cooler similar to the Coleman I mentioned earlier. It'll suck your batteries dry by morning (draws about 6 amps, and never gets more than 40° below ambient temp, which usually means it never ever cycles off).
I would think any freon-based fridge will mention something about it in it's sales description ("compressor-based cooling", "R-134a", etc.).

Thank you for the info!!!!

Chilliwak,
Thanks for the warm welcome!!

I wound up buying an 01 ram 1500 4x4 today for dirt cheap, was going to part out based on its description, but when I got there it looked better than that, needed a wheel hub unit bearing and had some body damage. Upon getting it home and checking it out I decided to keep it. I got the hub replaced today along with the axle joint that got destroyed on that side. I'm gonna use it as a mud truck/beater and probably daily drive it. I know I know, I was just bitching about insurance but I will actually drive this one, I just don't like driving the jeep. It will be more convenient to leave the diesel hooked to a trailer or what not and still have one to jump in and run somewhere. Also it ain't healthy on a diesel to fire up and drive.4 miles then shut off.

Anyhows, this whim decision cuts into the budget for that aluminum contractor cap unless he still has it in a couple weeks. I may have to just use the fiberglass one that matches my truck.

Here's pics of the new ride.... The cap I think is actually for 88-98 GM truck. It almost fits the dodge, just a tad long. I know the ford caps are way too wide in the tail to fit good on a GM or dodge. The mill is a 318, automatic, leveled front end, 33x12.50x15 wild country mtx's. I practically stole this truck boys!! Lots of body damage but zero rust!!!! Clean frame an all!!!

I second the Edge star 43qt. Holds my biweekly refrigerated groceries with ease. Found mine on craigslist for about $275. I don't use it all too often, but when I do it's well worth it. I keep it in my 2 door Jeep and still sleep in the back. Not having to get ice is great. Food stays cold and dry no matter where you are, and the fridge shuts off if battery power drops so you don't kill the battery.

Chilliwak,
Thanks! Drove the green machine to town last night and a guy came up to me and told me that the cap on it is his and its for his 07 dodge. He said well I'm gonna have to have a talk with my buddy for selling his truck with my cap still on it! Lol that should be an interesting conversation hahaha.... Well hey man I will sell it to ya! Lol
