Newb Here with a question

Ok so I have found an 08 lr3 with 80k miles on it near me. 2 owners, second owners wife used it to get to work. It looks in good condition but the only thing that's been done to it are replaced front brakes and brake sensor. Do you guys know a good price to pay knowing I will have to fix the control arms/air compressor/ and maybe sun roof? Anything else I should be worried about? Thanks!

Without much more info I would say maybe $22k on the high end. Anything under $20k would be good and in the $17k ballpark is a deal. But that all depends on condition and options. Tires new or worn out? Everything works? Full size spare? Tow hitch?

Biggest thing is if it ain't broke don't fix it. First thing to tend to would be to change ALL of the fluids. Then hit the road. Just keep an ear out for the compressor running excessively. Check the control arms and front hub assemblies by getting the front tires off the ground and giving them a good shake and once over. If their solid keep on driving. When they go bad you'll have enough time to replace before major issues.

But, with that said you can still use those fear points to try and get the price tag lower.
