A few months ago, Nissan announced plans to develop several new vehicles for commercial use. Here's a rendering of one of the new models, called the NV2500:
I kinda like the 1950's panel wagon vibe.
The NV2500 will be somewhere between the new Ford Transit Connect and the Dodge Sprinter in size. The "2500" in the name hints at the truck's capacity. No word yet on engine or 4x4 options. The NV2500 is scheduled for a coming-out party at the LA Auto Show in January.
No doubt the new vehicle will have a van-style sliding side door, perhaps on both sides, and a wide-opening pair of rear doors.
