Lessons, appreciations, kudos, gratitudes, etc!
All in all, this was an incredible adventure and a very successful trip. I learned that I packed WAY TOO MUCH, which won't happen again! Hopefully, I can avoid going the other extreme next time, and not having something I need.
We owe this forum a tremendous amount of appreciation for enabling certain parts of this adventure to become reality. Special thanks to Expeditions West for creating this community and to the community of enthusiasts that frequent this board that make it a great place to exchange ideas and plan adventures.
Special thanks to DevinSixtySeven for introducing me to this forum and being a trooper when we changed plans mid-trip. I eagerly anticipate October when Team Tundra forms up for the Trophy!
Thanks to Urisdae69 for his suggestions on NM!
Mucho kudos to Rubi-Khan and Lacy for being great travel companions, for their great knowledge of the area, and corresponding great suggestions for the various segments of the trip that we enjoyed so much.
Thanks to my son and his friend for getting accepted to NAYLE at Philmont, the impetus for starting the plans for this journey.
Thanks to my favorite daughter, Chloe. I will always cherish this week among all my memories. You are the apple of my eye (aside from your Mommy, that is, LOL) and I love you more than life itself!
Primary thanks also, to our creator! What a wonderful creation You made and entrust us with. May we always take the best care of Your creation so that we can leave it better for our children! I had the best time ever on this trip and it would never have been possible without You!
