Mounted my spare. Looks good, but (mistake #3) when swing out is open all the way against slam latch, the tire will touch aluminum outer skin. I will have to cut off and move tire mount 1/4 inch.

Interior is roughed in. I left interior up to my wife. She has decided roof, and cabinets light stain and walls light gray. My answer..... yes ma'am.

Very cool build ! I'm building an almost identical trailer , did you only use liquid nails on the interior walls ? No screws ? How did you press & hold them in place ? Thnx

FINISHED!!

Took her to Ouray Co last week with the family. I was pretty scared pulling her down the highway for the first time, but after 30 minutes I got over it. Pulled straight as an arrow. Total weight loaded 2700 lbs. not bad.889C7B26-64EF-474B-B4DF-27959A2C125B.jpeg

I ended up using self tappers under my trim to secure it again. The trim also holds it. The VHB tape didn’t hold the birch as good as I would have liked.

This thing looks awesome! Nice job!!
Thanks man! I got stopped 4 times by people on my way to Colorado asking about it, and the best part was everyone thought I bought it! That is the best compliment in my book if it doesn’t look home made.

A cop knocked on my Jeep window in a restaurant parking lot. I rolled down my window and he said “you mind if I check out your trailer, I want one like that. Sure officer.

I just looked at your website. I like the diamond plate trim around the bottom. I need to do that to hide some imperfections and add a little style. What gauge did you use?
