Off-Road Trailer and Tepui Kukenam RTT - Springfield, MO

98OzarksRunner

Adventurer
SOLD.

Off-road trailer built from 1953-56 F100 step-side pickup bed. Tongue is 2 1/2 square tubing (3/16"). Floor, front, and tailgate are 12 ga treadplate. Sides are original from pickup (about 16 ga). Top is 16 ga steel. Tailgate is removable and lockable. Top is removable. Very sturdy, pulls very well on and off road (suspension works very well). Is painted matte black (some photos show original green). Trailer looks good, but sides and top are not perfectly smooth (it's an off-road trailer, not built for car shows). Box bolts to frame.

Dimensions:

Bed interior is 68"L X 49"W X 18"T (to top of sides).
Track width is 72" (to outside of tires).
Overall width is 74".
Length (tongue to back) is 115".
Weight est. 500# without RTT.

Axle is Dexter 3500 lb, with 6-bolt Chevy/Toyota pattern (no brakes). Wheels are Toyota 16" spares (from 3rd gen 4Runner).

Tongue box is Harbor Freight (new August, 2015). LED tail lights.

Have tongue adapter for 2" ball and home-made multi-axis coupler as well. Has rear receiver for bike rack (and tailgate support).

RTT is Tepui Kukenam. Bought in May 2014. Used for 14 nights. Has 1 1/2" pillow-topper (makes it MUCH more comfortable). Tent is complete and in great condition.

Trailer finished in May 2014. We used a lot last year, just once this year. Great little trailer, ready for more build-out if desired. We load it down with tubs of gear, firewood, etc., and off we go.

$2500 takes it all. Has Missouri home-built trailer title. Not interested in parting out at this time. PM if interested. Located near Springfield, MO.
