The transmissions are pretty stout, you can't find many posts online of folks who had issues with them, I searched before I bought my 98 and found they go a long time.

I would be all over that. At $450 you could probably part it out and break even (easily) if you couldn't get it to run. GO GET IT!!!!

No they are not, but sometimes folks get lucky without damage.

I picked up mine 99 for 400 bucks, then found a motor out of a 97 at the junk yard. Put it in over a weekend and it's been awesome ever since. The motor was 800 so 1200 bucks altogether.

so since this has the rear locker, does that mean it has the winter package?

Winter package includes heated seats and headlight squirters. I don't remember if it included the rear locker. Mine has the winter package and also the rear locker. Not sure if there is another option to include the locker.

You never mentioned what year it is. The heated seats first appeared in 97-98 iirc although I'm leaning more towards 98+.

I'm pretty sure the Sport 3.5 is the same as the full size.
