Actually the ICON's are set at 2" right out of the box and that is what I left them at for now. The Dakars are a little high in the back but they should still settle down after awhile from what I'm told so I will wait to doing anything up front until that point. The CV's fins are not touching and when I got the alignment with the stock UCA's they were right in spec.
So far all of the mods are working out except for the rear ICON shocks. They are sending me a new set here in a week or so whenever they get more built. These have a squeaking noise at real low speeds, I talked with ICON and tried spray silicone grease on the shafts, checked the upper bushings but in the end it sounds like the seals aren't right. They work and perform great but that noise is just enough to drive you nuts and a higher price shock like that should be quiet like the front ones.
Which bracket is that?
Thanks,
Brandon
Another option with the Trans4mer is to go with the receiver mount instead and have a portable winch to use front and back, while also leaving the winch at home during the week. The winch is just another 75lbs more weight to carry back and forth to work each day, plus it being out in the weather (i.e. rain up here) during the day.
Or just go front receiver without the brush guard at all...

Might have missed it some where but did you get rid of your 4Runner? Almost bought one because of your build.
Thinking hard about selling my 1st gen extended cab Tacoma and getting a newer 4 door Tacoma. Need more room and want my bed back so no topper. Storage behind the seat in the extended cab is a pain to use. Also realize as I get older I don't really do any hard core off road stuff. Want a truck that is more comfortable and roomier. What made you go to the newer Tacoma's?
