OM617 into 404 Mog, bellhousing questions

I am currently in the process of converting my Unimog 404 (gas motor) to an OM617. There is tons of information out there about doing this swap, but it all pertains to keeping the stock cab and body and using a very expensive bellhousing adapter.

I am not keeping any of the stock body (making my 404 a dedicated off-road machine) and therefore do not need to use the expensive adapter that rotates the motor to clear the cab.

I have been told that the bellhousing of the 404 will bolt directly to the OM617 once the Unimog 404 backing plate is taken off of the gas engine, and bolted on the diesel. (Clutch and flywheel are a different story)

What I am looking for is either a picture, or picture with dimensions of the rear end of an OM617 so I can confirm that this 404 backing plate will or won't work.

Thanks for any help.

5 Speed Getrag Bellhousing that mates up perfectly to 617.95 Turbo diesel motor.

Hope this helps....

Thanks for the pic. I am looking for what it looks like behind the flywheel and spacer plate. Here is the back of my M180 motor, a comparable shot of an OM617 would be perfect.
