The GSA auctions in NH a few months ago went significantly higher than that... Ones with a fair amount of rust, and even holes and requiring panel replacements were in the $350-400 range. My M100 went for $390 with surface rust and a few small holes in the floor and a hacked tailgate mod. A 416 in similar shape to the auction above, with almost no rust and no mods, but without wheels and tires, went for just over $600. These trailers are all but impossible to find well sorted and under $1,000 around here.

Original paint, data plate, registration plate, no mods, no damage: 950.00 is my guess but over a grand would not shock me.

That said, I would love to see someone here steal it under 400. Good luck.

PS. GL will hook you up with a shipper who will pack and deliver you auction items including trucks and trailers.

The value of these things is funny. A few years ago when I was looking they were well over 1K, now the prices seem to have come down a bit. I don't know if that's the economy, or if they're not as hot a commodity anymore, or if more people are just building their own from scratch.
I do know I might just bid on that thing since I live practically next door.
Hoping for the rare $400 east coast steal. Wish me luck...

I could actually pick it up with my work pickup truck... I am in the NE fairly often (including all next week) I will be in Auburn Mass. for at least a day or two.

Be patient, there are thousands of the new models just getting ready to be shipped to bases around the country, when the new ones hit, they will be blowing them out. Military getting rid of its outdated axles.

There's a Bantam T3-C for sale just down the street. It looks to be pretty solid, with the exception of no floor at all. But while there is some spot rust and maybe a few very small perforations, it looks like a very solid base to start with. I don't know what these typically go for, but they're asking $300 for this one.

I wish I could. Unfortunately it's not gonna happen. I'm doing some renovations on my place, which as always, have cost more than expected, and am still trying to scrape together the funds to finish my M100... I tried to convince my father to buy it, having had some practice working on my M100 with me. But he knows as well as I do that these things always cost more than expected, and he doesn't really need it now. Especially knowing the reproduction floor from Greene's Panels would be about $240, and neither of us could weld it in.

Anyway, here are some pics if anyone wants to see them:

The M35A1 is for sale, too. But at $3,000 I think they're dreaming...

lol..I went by that trailer back in June (we vacation in Ogunquit) on our way back home to NY. We always stop at Bob's on the way out of town for a bowl of chowder...and I sat there for a half hour mulling over going back and looking at it. Her Highness asked "a penny for your thought"....and I told her...well, she said "GET IN THE TRUCK!!....N O W !!" Hope to see you get it.
