Not quite fully Expo yet - but getting there! And timely, since I just installed the soft top last week!

Sorry for a late reply here 'mustangwarrior', I was off the web for a while.

I actually prefer the soft top or bikini top on my CJ 7, vs. the hardtop.

The soft tops have a little 'give', whereas the hard top has none, unless of course the whole Jeep moves.

To me, it's much cheaper and easier to replace/repair the soft top or Bikini top than it is to patch a hard top/replace glass.

A brand new bikini top is under $50, and the side windows, rear window and upper soft doors are individually replaceable.

But, up here in MN, the biggest advantage for me, is to go from full top, to no top (soft top stored) in a few minutes, and back again. As the weather dictates.

For me, it's either Bikini or soft top for the win!*

* I never drive my CJ in the winter, due to the salt/anti icing agents used on the roads. If I did drive in winter, I would prefer the hardtop.:coffeedrink:

1986 ExMOD 110. Nearly stock at this point, but working on it. This truck was originally a hardtop, but that was swapped out for a soft top, which I prefer.

This is sitting topless in the UK.

And with the top on the Elephant Hill trail.

The big issue with the soft top is security. I've got a Tuffy console now, and plan to have a couple of custom lock boxes added to the bed on down the road. In the meantime when I'm in bear country I'll have to store food items in the sidelockers at night.

Hi Paul! Sorry for the delay - its a Softopper! I picked it up right from them. I think its great, super thick material, great people and under $1k!

Very beefy - for as much beef as a soft top can have!
