thanx for posting. i drove through there in late february to bring back my montero from texas! the silverton ouray portion was cold and blizzardy! great first test for the AWD!

Thanks for the write up. We are fortunate enough to spend 2 or 3 weeks a year in that area and never get enough. I am guessing you did not go very far up Lower Engineer due to snow.

We just went up through Ouray via 550 from Cortez, CO and all we saw was snow! You timed it just right. We were only a few days behind you.
