p3 and trailer breaks

So I got a 99 landcruiser last week and I want to run my tekonsha p3 in it. I have everything hooked up and in place but I do not know where to grab a wire from so the p3 knows the break is being applied. In my rubicon it was simple in the toyota it seems a little more complicated for some reason. Any help would be great and pictures would be great.
Thanks

Probably not prewired at that age. I know the LX470 did not get prewired until 2003.

I just did this on my 2000 LX 470. In the driver's foot well, there is a panel that has several wiring harnesses that plug into it. One of the smaller ones (maybe 6 wires), plugs into the panel near the bottom. This is the harness that comes off the switch on the brake pedal. I IDed the wire with a simple voltage tester. I think it was black with green stripes, but I'm not sure.

If you can't find it easily, let me know and I'll try to grab a photo after work. Did you already run the wires through the firewall? There is a trick to that too.

All the wires are ran I just need to find the magic one. I would love a picture I am kind of a dumb dumb.
Thanks Dave I have read that about five times I was told by a trailer place in town that I can access the wire that I need above the break pedal I was just hoping someone could say for sure which wire I need to tie into.
thanks
