Pathy and Rogue oil change for newbie

Success! The manual was incorrect or at least wildly innacurate in depicting the location of the drain plug. I looked at a few pics on the net and located the drain pan about two feet behind the location of the filter. The manual shows the pug at the bottom of the block, directly below the filter. The filter was a pain- had to remove a small skid plate/shield and the openings for my hands were way too small. I think I might drop the whole assembly and widen the openings for filter access.

Now, on to the Rogue!

Nice, glad you got it!

You might consider using a high mileage filter. I'm going to give a 10K mile filter a try on my Titan & just do a drain & fill for the following oil change. ie I'll just change the filter every other oil change.

Exactly what I was thinking! I saw the 10k filters at Walmart and they were only three or four bucks more expensive.
