Using my son's 31yr old series III to tow my boss's Volvo estate all the way up the hill where he lives to the point where he could finally gain traction - it couldn't even reverse out of the parking space it was in, just sat there spinning wheels..

The landy, of course, didn't bat an eyelid and just pulled him straight up

a small moment, but sweet nonetheless!

My wife's Volvo actually didn't do too bad in the snow, but we did put all-season tyres on it.

That should gain a few brownie points. Perhaps the bosses Volvo will fall to the same fate tomorrow morning so that you and your son can go play in the Landy!

I have a video somewhere of my wife in her volvo cross country pulling my 88 1.5 miles out of a trail. Backwards. The fuel pickup tube fell off into the tank!
