Fleckster - that looks like a serious weapon! Love it. And I thought my old KLR was agricultural! :sombrero:

With a drive like that to the front wheel, you must get some serious torque?!

Just a sprung seat too?... ouch!

Its really not that bad, and it has a slipper clutch in the frame tube on the front drive shaft to differentiate the wheels. The suspension is ok. If you want to see some real Rokon conversions go look on Rokonworld.com and they have some threads or pics of air ride seats conversion off the Harley bikes that cushion out the ride. :)

Need help finding Cody Burwell

Hey does anyone on here know Cody Burwell aka Beast 1210 on here? I have been trying to get in touch with him about an invoice for ($703.73) parts he picked up from my shop and promised to pay me for with a check that he never sent. I have e-mails from him saying he was sending me a check but never got it. So if anyone knows how to reach him by phone or has an address I would greatly appreciate it. He seemed like a really nice guy and I think he went through some rough times but all I care about is getting paid for the parts I sold him for his Scout at this point. Thanks in advance for your help. :)

PS sorry to post on this thread but hes been on here so i know this will get to him since he is subscribed. Hoping for a good positive outcome.

Here is my trust steed! I purchased bike for $600 because it wouldn't run. The bike sat for about a year. The owner pointed me in the direction of the fuel system. He was right, it was the fuse to the EFI computer. I replaced the fuse, and it fired right up. Hard to argue with that! Here is a list of what I have done thus far:

-Powerbronze taller windscreen
-Heidenau K76 front tire w/ Dynabeads!!(PO had put on a wrong size dunlop street tire)
-front and rear brake pads
-BMW handguards w/ Touratech handguard spoilers
-Buell Uly mirrors and turnsignals
-SE ProTaper ATV mid-rise handlebars
-all brass 90 degree elbows
-new spark plugs
-mobil 1 4T oil change
-Nissan radiator cap w/ Engine Ice coolant
-Metal fuel fittings(PO had removed the original plastic ones and installed AN fittings straight up to the fuel rail.)
-K&N air/oil filters
-new battery
-19T front sprocket
-Happy Trails 45L panniers
-Givi 39L top box
-SW Motech centerstand
-Thunderbike crashbars
-adjusted fuel table tune via TuneECU
-good over all cleaning
-airbox mod
-All LED dash lights(HUGE improvement!!)

Dude I was happy for you when you purchased this 990. This photo is my new screen saver. Nice photo man. I'm glad you are ripping it up with that 990.

Thanks! The bike has been great, I just need to find more time to ride it!

WY Ride

Hello, I got out with friend on our XR650L's. Wasn't really an expedition, just a couple hundred miles of pleasant weather and two track/gravel roads.
We headed out to the Morrison Jeep Trail in Clark WY. I was defeated by a long uphill of ankle deep black sand. I am recovering from a beating last month in WA on my L and decided I didn't want to be picking up and dragging bikes this early in the day.
Ended up wandering thru the gas fields of Northern WY and visiting a fish hatchery in MT. 216 miles total - only 75 pavement.
And nobody got hurt.

Since it was a day trip, I didn't have my bags on the back of my bike, but I have done several days and hundreds of miles on two track/gravel roads on my 650L.
