Curious if you have a problem with it trying to stall at idle with the power steering idle up circuit plugged?
Any issues with the lager AFM throwing codes?
EGR missing throw codes?
Hard starts?

I have read that the intake off the 90's model is of better design and flows better. Something like 5hp I believe it was in Pirate4x4's Toyota Bible. You ever hear that?

I had no problems with idle
No codes for the AFM or EGR
No hard starts
90's intake manifold is a MUCH better design, I highly recommend the swap, it's easy and helps quite a bit, plus the idle system is less complicated on the newer style.

Question, When you swapped on the newer model intake, did you re-use your TB or use the TB that came with the new intake? I was able to find a newer intake in the junk yard, but it did not have the TB.

Need the newer TB too, you will have to swap your TPS onto the new TB though.
