Plannerman's 2010 Tacoma

Time for some suspension upgrades. My Front coil overs are beginning to fade. Here's the question: how to best balance the front and rear suspension.

The rear axle is sprung with medium weight Dakars and Icon VS 2.0 regular length shocks. I've been saving up my nickels to purchase the Icon 2.5 remote resi shocks with adjustable valving. But, it just occurred to me that the front axle will way out perform the rear. The rear axles on these trucks already lag the front in performance anyway, so this spec choice could make it worse.

Would the overall performance of the vehicle be greater if I got the coil overs without reservoirs and dancing valving and spent the extra money on the rear axle? Say with remote resi tears or hydraulic bump stops?
