Has anyone taken a standard RV type forced air furnace and put it in some kind of box to make it portable, similar to a Propex?
I'm looking at an Atwood Hydro Flame 12,000btu, only 1.8 amp draw. It's just going in the back of my pickup that has a simple camper shell. How feasible is it to connect the fresh air intake and exhaust to flexible duct so the unit doesn't have to be permanently mounted?
I don't have the furnace in front of me so I'm not sure how the fresh air and exhaust connections are designed to work.
