Possible Disco for Streakerfreak

The only cool thing about that disco is the 5-speed. I looked at Disco's for over a year before I left Denver and only found 3 5 speeds, and they all had over 200k miles. So I settled for an automatic. The price is way high, especially for Colorado, the market is flooded with them there. I was unfortunate and bought mine right before the values tanked on them so I've had it for almost two years and am a little upside down in it. The funny thing is that if I wasn't upside down in the Disco I would probably be trading it in on a Tacoma pretty soon.

WOW, this guy is going to get an '07 Taco with a few bells on it for 20k... he is getting a great deal!

Think about it.

Well, the trucks stays.

Jenn and I talked for a while last night. Basically any direction we take will have some sort of negative impact on us. So we might as well just keep it. Every option we have sucks in some way. We will get through it.

Thanks for all the advice and support guys. I know I can trust most everyone here to lead us in the right direction. We were completely lost.

You're better off, Land Rovers a pieces of junk... I love my piece of junk, but it's still junk any way you slice it.

Well put... I know deep down inside that the most logical truck for me would be a Taco. I just cant bring myself to get rid of the Defender.

My brother has an 04 taco crewcab, I would not trade my 97 Disco for it.
The front seats and driver placement is not right for me. It is alittle faster and gets alittle better MPG, but no much. I love my solid axles and simple to repair wheel bearings and drive shafts.

Just take the goodies off and sell them. Then push the truck off a cliff, torch it and claim on the insurance. Nobody will notice the bumpers are missing. Don't forget to publish the video on utube.

:D

lol Well I can't call mine a piece of junk. I love them but the do have their defaults as with any other vehicle. However the Taco is a great truck.

I love my Disco but I think I'm swinging over to the Toyota side again. The Rover is killing my bank account one part at a time. I bought my latest Toyota with the money I was saving to put the O2 sensors and cats/exhaust on my Disco.
