Possible purchase advise from a Newb: 2000 Quigley?

Hi, all. New to the 4x4 world and have been looking for a while. Well I have come across a 2000 Quigley 12 passenger van, 4x4, 7.3 diesel with 310,000 Miles. The owner took very good care of the engine, the body has just the smallest amount of rust and the interior is a plain passenger van. New rebuilt trans about 10k miles ago. The owner is looking for 9,000. What do you guys think?

Crappy cell phone pic but here it is:
No blowby on the engine. Tires have rock rash. Interior looks like it has 300k miles on it. Would plan on replacing the whole thing.

I think it's priced too high BUT I'm a cheap sob.

Yea, the price. But that's a lot of miles on an original engine too! My 7.3 was replaced at 175k. By a fleet shop.

I actually bought the van for 7500 bucks. full service history from the pervious 2 owners. and even more important records of oil changes and consistant maintenance every 3000 miles.

7500 to me is still a bit high but MUCH better then the 9000. Good luck with the van and keep us updated.

Oh and replacing the 7.3 less then 400,000 miles is due to poor maintenance.

I guess it depends on what market you are in, but here in Southern California, I could sell those all day long for $9,000.00.

I agree completly and here on oahu, I think this maybe the only one I'm not positive though

Here in the NW, that would be gone quick at 12-15k IMHO.
