Not picture but a video.

Lots of heavy rain in the area over the last week or so.
So plenty of puddles around, this is actually Loch Lomond that's flooded the road and the hotel etc.

I was encouraged at a certain point to make bigger waves by a few men... You may be able to tell what part of the video it happens.

Here's my latest addition-

Just picked up this 1993 NAS Defender 110. Less than 40k miles from new! Swapped out the stock white wheels for black steel and some 255/85 15 's.

Check the oil lines on that Defender.

I've read they go brittle with age and a few have got rather crispy because of oil getting on to that engine.

Otherwise, a very good find! It's in much better condition than any 93 I've seen this side of the pond.

Monday's fun.
Finally swapped the 5-6 year old Hitachi compressor out and fitted the AMK replacement.
Actually a straight forward swap and with the software update via my iid tool. It was an easy afternoon.
Saved a few quid instead of taking it to a garage to get them to do it.

The old one has suffered plenty of off road use and had been suffering low pressure faults for a while ( maybe 20,000 miles or so of intermittent faults )

Going to buy a compressor guard to protect the new one from damage.

It's at my local specialist as we speak, getting new oil lines, hoses, etc. After that I plan to use it like it was meant to be used!

Excellent. Get it up to standard then enjoy.

If you live in a dry area then ideal, if not. The chassis can rot, bulkheads at bases and near Windows can go, door bottoms are famous for going bad.
Try and protect those if you can with waxoil etc
